Greetings and cheers from the heart of the Big Apple!
We’re Rosie and Pulkit, a wine & food-loving (especially paired together) couple navigating New York City, and we’re excited to have you join us on our wine & food tasting journey.
We are novice wine drinkers and amateur foodies, an architect and a civil engineer during the day and a wine-drinking food loving duo by night. Our passion for drinking and discovering wine all started during the pandemic. New York City was in lock down but wine stores remained open (essential business indeed).
With no distractions, we started tasting and tracking good wine. We had blind tastings, tasting of different regions and even recommendations from online and the wine store staff. We’d like to share our findings with you as regular wine drinkers. No judgement.
As New Yorkers, we also frequent the best and affordable eats around the city and during our travels. We love a good date night, so we go out and try to find new, unique and delicious restaurants that are accessible to all and would love for you to join us on our journey.
Whether we’re exploring hidden (and not so hidden) wine bars and restaurants, hosting intimate tastings in our apartment, or planning fun date ideas, each experience tells a unique story that we can’t wait to share with you.
Our Website
On our website we share our wine learning notes. Tips and tricks that will make drinking wine more enjoyable. We’ll also post our review of the best food and restaurants as we go along.
We only post good stuff! So behind every wine bottle review is about 6 bottles that didn’t make it. Keep that in mind 🙂
Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life’s most civilized pleasures”

Our Purpose
The main goal is to create a space where we can share our opinion on great wine and awesome food. We feel truly blessed to be exposed to so many great experiences that we cannot just keep it to ourselves. We are planners and researchers and what a better way to express our findings that this blog. If you are just like us, feel free to let us know- we can always use more wine friends.
We believe that great wine and food shouldn’t have a big price tag. It often doesn’t! The best spots are the hole in the wall or food trucks that well out perform some of the best restaurants in the city. As far as wine, we like to discover the right spot where the wine is at its best value. An $80 bottle of wine sometimes tastes just as good as the $25… follow for more!
A self acclaimed Malbec expert, Rosie is a Mexican, from Texas living in New York City. Rosie is an architect and cares a lot about design. She loves wine, reality shows, plants and Beyonce like a true millennial.
Pulkit is the foodie of foodies. He was born in India and has lived in Arizona, California and now New York. He never shies away from tasting something new and unique, and is always trying to look for new and fun places to eat! Pizza, tacos and the occasional gaming session are his passion when he is not working in Civil Engineering projects that protect New York City from flooding.
